In the second game of a back-to-back doubleheader, Askin took over offensively, scoring three goals and adding two assists for a five-point night. His playmaking and finishing ability set the tone early and kept the pressure on throughout, helping the Owls break through in a decisive 9–2 victory. When the team needed a response, Askin delivered in a big way, leading the charge and anchoring a breakout performance.

2nd Star – Buttermilk Waffles' Brett Butterworth

Brett Butterworth earns Second Star of the Week honours after a standout performance that helped spark the Buttermilk Waffles’ first win of the campaign. The captain delivered when it mattered most, putting together a four-point night that drove the offence and set the tone throughout the game. His playmaking vision and timely scoring were key in turning momentum in the Waffles’ favour, leading his team to a much-needed breakthrough victory.

3rd Star – Huskies' Brady Van Herk

Brady Van Herk earns Third Star of the Week honours after a clutch, all-around performance that anchored the Huskies at both ends of the floor. He was outstanding defensively, repeatedly shutting down the Roadrunners’ offense and breaking up key counter-attacks to keep his team in it in a tightly contested matchup. Van Herk also made his mark offensively, scoring the game-winning goal with just eight seconds remaining to seal a dramatic victory, his second point of the night.
