Welcome to the Island Ball Hockey Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing the sport of ball hockey in Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Our mission is to enrich the lives of youth and local communities by offering accessible ball hockey programs that emphasize physical activity, skill development, teamwork, and a passion for the sport. Established in 2023, we have passionately pursued our goals and have laid a strong foundation to instill vital values in our participants, such as sportsmanship, teamwork, mentorship, and leadership.

Nanaimo Ball Hockey League

Victoria Sanctioned Ball Hockey League

The Victoria Sanctioned Ball Hockey League is the only officially sanctioned ball hockey league in Victoria, operating under the BC Ball Hockey Association (BCBHA) and Canadian Ball Hockey Association (CBHA). As the region’s sole sanctioned league, it provides players with a direct pathway to higher levels of competition beyond local play.

Teams competing in the VBHL play for more than just league titles, top-performing teams earn the opportunity to represent Victoria at the BC Provincial Championships, with the potential to advance even further to National Ball Hockey Championships as part of Team BC.

With a competitive structure, organized play, and official recognition, the VSBHL serves as the premier destination for ball hockey in Victoria and the starting point for athletes aiming to compete at the provincial and national level.

Comox Valley Ball Hockey League

The Comox Valley Ball Hockey League is a community-driven sports organization based in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Dedicated to promoting the fast-paced, accessible game of ball hockey, the league offers opportunities for players of all skill levels and ages to get involved in a fun, competitive, and inclusive environment. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the sport, the league provides a welcoming space to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy Canada’s beloved street-hockey tradition.
