Nanaimo Ball Hockey League Announces Three Stars of Week 2.

1st Star – Huskies' Owen Weihs 

Owen Weihs lit up the floor as this week’s first star, delivering a dominant performance with three goals and one assist against the reigning BCBHA B Division Provincial Champions. Leading the charge in a thrilling comeback, Weihs propelled the Huskies to a 6–4 victory, sealing the win with the game winning goal. A clutch performance when it mattered most.


2nd Star – Roadrunners' Chad Belanger

Chad Belanger earns second star of the week honors after a dominant performance, tallying a hat trick and two assists for a five-point night. Leading the charge for the Roadrunners, Belanger powered his team to a commanding 11–1 victory over the Shockwave, showcasing both his scoring touch and playmaking ability in a complete all-around effort. 


3rd Star – Huskies' Alex Reid

Alex Reid earns third star of the week honors with a composed performance in net, backstopping the D Division Provincial Silver Medalists to a 6–4 victory over the reigning B Division champions. Reid turned aside 21 of 25 shots, delivering key saves under pressure and allowing the Huskies to mount a late comeback and secure the win.
